These qualifications are for anyone who works in or is wanting to work in the front house in a restaurant or in any other food and beverage service venue. You will not need to have any experience or qualifications.
The course is divided in 8 modules & practical assesment make it easy to follow up by having access to the platform 24/7, with course materials, assesment test, online exam and practical work activities with our partner hotels.

Theory assignments will give you the underpinning knowledge to assist your understanding of the topics within practical areas, and reflective logs are used to build understanding, confidence and self-analyse your skill development.

Minimum age: 18
Educational qualification: Minimum 9th grade or equivalent Language Proficiency test: TORFL and IELTS
GCSEs Mathematics/Numeracy and English at Grade C or Grade 4 or above, or their equivalent, but consideration is given to individual circumstances.

Course Curriculum
This course will allow you to learn, develop and practise the skills required for employment and career progression in the hospitality sector. The qualification covers all aspects of food and beverage service supervision including legislation, guerdon service, general supervision, mixology and promotions. You will develop the key skills required by industry to ensure that you have a thorough understanding of the role and expectations that any future employer will expect. The key factors to positive restaurant experiences are good service, good value, cleanliness and high-quality food.
Module 1: Food safety and Hygiene (15 hours)
Module 2: Legislation in food and beverage service (10 hours)
Module 3: Beverage, product knowledge and design (15 hours)
Module 4: Beverage, product knowledge and design (15 hours)
Module 5: Food and beverage service skills (15 hours)
Module 6: Food and Wine pairing (10 hours)
Module 7: Customer complaint management (5 hours)
Module 8: General customer service (15)
Practical assesment: 25hours
This qualifications meet the candidate who wants to work front of the house and kitchen in hospitality.
Certification for Restaurant and Beverage Service Techniques- COMING SOON Course
Successful completion of the course entitles the trainee to receive a Vocational Training Certificate, issued by the Sistema de Informação e Gestão da Oferta Educativa e Formativa (SIGO) platform.
